Hi! My name is Edgar. How are you?
I love film, love being on set. You can even see a pretentious picture of myself with a light meter here :) I love shooting film and digital - whatever suits the project, the style and the budget. I have shot across formats from DSLRs to 35mm.
Started in the industry as a unit set photographer, then moved into camera traineeing and assisting. During several years I’ve worked on over 120 productions including feature films, music videos, commercials, documentaries and shorts.
Now DPing myself - shot over twenty shorts (half on film), music videos, commercials, documentaries and other bits and bobs.
While working, I have built my own camera and lighting team (focus pullers, gaffers etc). This is the crew that I have worked with on numerous projects, people whose taste, reliability and professionalism I trust. I believe that having this team is crucial to save production’s time and worries.
I believe in exciting projects - be it a fiction script, documentary subject, commercial idea or music video craziness. And a good director.
